I think Ms Daley has been removed from direct patient care to believe this is going to improve anything but the bedside nurse being removed from bedside longer. Also EMR and the ability to refer other side of information was meant to decrease double charting if the same information.

Sounds like more idiotic waste of time.. more unnecessary work for the nurse. It’s stupid things like that is why, even though I love being a nurse, I never encouraged any of my children to go into nursing. I know more nurses who tell their kids to find a different careers because of stupidity like this

There used to be a saying “chart once”, last night I had to chart in three places the same bloody information because of the paranoia from a previous bad survey at a LTC somewhere somewhen.
