How can you dispute the empirical evidence of the eradication of small pox worldwide and nearly the same with polio? It’s because of immunizations. Why is there suddenly rises in measles and e pertussis? Because people are not vaccinating their children. It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure that out. But of course all the doctors and nurses with years of training must be brainwashed and wrong.
I’ve come across articles where psychologists have said that it actually quite difficult to change an anti-vaxxer’s mind. Personally I’ve kind of given up on the whole debate… Although everything I’ve learnt in all that time spent in immunology and medicine makes me go huh? All the time whenever I come across these opinions. I’d rather focus on kids in developing nations who still live under the scourge of these diseases and how to improve their lives. I can see what she’s getting at, some of them, like influenza, are rushed and understudied. Although the basics have been used for a long time and show a very positive outcome. Where as now we pump newborns with Hep B that people my age (30) and older don’t have unless they work(ed) healthcare, is it going to hold up it’s titter getting it so early when many adults have to redo them?

Vaccines are organic, so that solve everything.
1) a study like that would not be ethical. There’s also no double blind study on the effects of cigarettes, yet we know they’re unsafe.
2) If you don’t trust the ample research that already exists that says vaccines are overwhelmingly safe and effective, what would one more study accomplish? You loons have changed the narrative so much to fit your crazy beliefs even though, time and time again, research has proven you wrong.

You know, when I took microbiology, polio was its own little virus. It still has a specific shape and size, etc., yet antivaccine nuts think we just “renamed it”. Christy, why don’t you take a microbiology class so you can learn some science, if that is even possible for you.

Christy See I don’t know why I’m wasting my time explaining this but here it goes. You can’t do random double blind studies if the group randomized to placebo is potentially put in harms way. We can’t give half the study participants a vaccine while allowing the other half to go unvaccinated. Not that you antivax folks care but science is not on your side. Facts are not on your side and logic, clearly, is not on your side.

Cuz Jimmy is an expert! I bet not one of them has read a vaccine insert or study. Do they mention that polio was renamed? Or that the vaccine actually gave thousands polio, or that it carried a cancer gene doubling our cancer rates today? Oh yea- but I’m so stupid. . . .
