SAN FRANCISCO, CA – Medical device company Pulsa Tech is unveiling the new Sitbit this week. Similar to its popular predecessor the Fitbit and Sh*tbit, Sitbit is a stylish, smart wristband meant to be worn throughout the day. The appearance of the smart device, however, is where the similarities end between the two. Pulsa Tech revealed earlier today that Sitbit data will be sent directly to primary care physicians for analysis. Doctors can finally track their patients’ sedentary lifestyles!
The company launched Sitbit December 2017, in time for holiday shopping season. The device will be Tier 3, require prior authorization from insurance, and be 99% out of pocket. A Pulsa Tech source reveals the company has a Fatbit prototype in the works, but are still troubleshooting the transcutaneous LDL measurement option.
