EMS Company Offers Subscription-Based Service

INDIANAPOLIS, IN – Accessible Ambulance, a local EMS company, will soon roll out a new way to provide care for the greater Indianapolis community with subscription-based ambulance service.  The program is designed for patients who frequently use EMS services for non-emergent issues.

“Our innovation will cut costs and shore up our market share in the competitive area we serve,” reported Dr. Charles Ivey, Medical Director of Accessible Ambulance.  Patients will be given a choice of Bronze, Silver, and Gold service packages in addition to the standard single use you get by calling 911.  Benefits to each package vary and are as follows:

Bronze: Pickup service anywhere in town and drop off to hospital ER of choice.  No vital, signs, intrusive questions asked.  Transportation services only.

Silver: Bronze package plus 1 set of vital signs and tips on which ER provider to request based on likelihood of obtaining desired prescription(s).

Gold: Silver package plus lights and sirens, priority transport with immediate ER rooming.

Pricing is still pending Medicare/Medicaid and insurance approval.  Subscribers can use Accessible Ambulance’s new app that allows for one-button calling for quick service to location via GPS in their smart phones.
