GOMERBLOG HQ – Whoops.  We really screwed up this time: Pathology was left out of another Gomerblog article. To be specific, THIS ARTICLE. We sat down to report on pathology and just forgot about it. We apologize for this terrible mistake, but we forgot.  It just “slipped our minds.”

Shoot, we left them out of the picture too!

“I can’t believe it,” Dr. 99 was quoted.  “I was going to get a ton of quotes for the article and everything, whoops.” I guess pathology quotes will have to wait.

When the autopsy report comes back on this article, it will definitely show Pathologypenia.  What a bummer, we were planning on sliding this article in the rotation.

Such a shame too.  So many people are dying to get into Pathology, having just ONE article dedicated to the specialty would have been the least we could do.  Nope, turns out the least we could do was attempt to write a Pathology article and then totally forget about Pathology!

Yup, Gomerblog dropped the ball again, leaving Pathology out of yet another article.  Maybe we can do a “_________ as Specialties” article, and pray we include Pathology.  Don’t get your hopes up.  What will probably happen is a fantastic article will be made and we won’t notice Pathology’s absence until we start reading the comments.

Many medical students wonder if Pathology is really like Bones, NCIS, or one of the other hundred similar shows.  The answer?  Well, maybe you would have found out if we remembered to write the article about Pathology, but lo, we forgot.  Apologies.  We’ll do better next time.  Heads will start to roll if this happens again.

Lord Lockwell
Lord Vincent Lockwell, a medival surgeon, started Gomerblog in 1388. He went for a walk in the alps to get away from the bubonic plague in what is now considered southren Germany when a tragic acident occured. The avalanche did not kill him but froze him for over 500 years. He was thawed and now continues to report on medical news.
