NEW YORK, NY – It’s official: Lin-Manuel Miranda’s replacement in the critically-acclaimed Broadway smash “Hamilton” is none other than the beloved Pyxis MedStation System, who steps into the role of Hamilton on July 11.  Miranda’s final performance as founding father Alexander Hamilton took place on July 9.  Broadway had gone berserk with resale prices for tickets ranging anywhere from $1,500 to $9,000 as people frantically scrambled to see Miranda before his departure.  However, the new leading machine has given theatergoers both a sigh of relief and a new form of excitement: can it not only fill Miranda’s shoes but also overcome the difficult transition from useless medication dispensing system to rapping founding father?  In a statement from the American Nurses Association, they “wish Pyxis well and if it succeeds on Broadway, we look forward to destroying all the other Pyxis machines with sledgehammers in a gesture of support and revenge.”
