AMSTERDAM, HOLLAND – Proctor and Gamble (P&G) has unveiled their newest innovation in oral and sexual health: the Oral-G. One part motorized tooth brush and one part personal sexual pleasure device, the Oral-G is a first-of-its-kind handy combination product that will no doubt send shockwaves through the dental and sexual health community.
The dental end resembles the standard vibrating toothbrush- fit with rotating and vibrating bristles to efficiently remove stubborn plaque and debris. The personal pleasure end is fitted with the consumer’s choice of vibrating and rotating forms/shapes. Through rigorous market research and focus groups, P&G scientists selected the top dozen favorite vibrator types and modified them to fit the slimmer profile of a standard toothbrush.
At their annual product launch last month, P&G executives proudly held the devices up for the crowd to see and demonstrated the dental/oral end while activating the personal end for added effect. A large projection screen behind them depicted a computer-generated demonstration of the personal pleasure principle to the gasps and delight of the crowd.
P&G president of product development, Hans Enman-Panz, declared: “A new dawn of personal hygiene and pleasure is upon us- one that will transcend boundaries and the limits of medical science and social mores. Brushing one’s teeth and gums will have new purpose in life. More people will look forward to their daily dental routine with renewed vigor and focus. It may also take longer….but that’s okay!”
The OralG will be carried commercially by both pharmacies and adult novelty shops and will retail between $10.99 and $14.99. Batteries will be sold separately.
