“Maybe I need more coffee?”

HUMAN BODY – Admitting openly that it has been a bucket of nerves since it woke up this morning after a restless night of sleep, the nervous system is just, like, really really nervous today.  And it has no idea why either.

“Look at me, I’m shaking all over!” the nervous system said to Gomerblog, its voice with an obvious tremble.  The nervous system can’t help but point out the tremors from both its cerebral hemispheres all the way down to its plantar digital nerves.  “Goodness gracious, what is happening to me, why am I such a nervous wreck?!”

From what it can remember, it went to bed without any problem and doesn’t recall any disturbing dreams or nightmares.  It didn’t have any alcohol yesterday, isn’t a big coffee drinker in general, and, in fact, had a really good workout at the gym yesterday evening.

As far as it knows, the brain and spinal cord doesn’t have any deadlines or major presentations.  And when asked how everything is with its friends and family, both the central and peripheral nervous systems just shrugged their brachial plexuses and said, “Things are fine and dandy, we really can’t complain.”

“Oh, man, I just wet myself!” the nervous system moaned, blushing and awfully embarrassed it just lost complete control of its bladder and bowels.  “Gosh, maybe I should take some Xanax?”
